‘New’ Caudell Hall Opens

Buffalo State celebrated the opening of the newly renovated Caudell Hall—a $27.6 million project—with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on February 9. An open house and tours of Caudell Hall followed the ceremony.

The significantly updated building houses three departments within the School of the Professions: Hospitality and Tourism, Social Work, and Speech-Language Pathology, along with the Health, Nutrition, and Dietetics Department, which is within the School of Natural and Social Sciences. Students returned to Caudell at the beginning of the spring semester.

The entire three-story interior of the 21,000-square-foot building has been gutted and renovated. The first floor now boasts an expanded lobby and houses classrooms, a conference room, and state-of-the-art food laboratories for the Hospitality and Tourism Department, includingthe Russell J. Salvatore Demonstration Kitchen that is viewable from the main lobby.
